Your story made my go all goosebumpy. Like you, I always keep Small Child by my side at all times but there is always a time when they somehow manage to give you the slip. We were shopping for school uniform and whilst I bent down to look at some trousers for her, in the space of three seconds, she managed to hide under the nearest clothes rack - unbeknown to me. After calling her name and running franticly around the store, she decided to pop out and say "Surprise!" You can imagine I was not very happy... I had to wait for my heart rate to slow down before I could give her the talk!
Love your blog and thanks for dropping by mine... it's always great to meet another shoeaholic! x

Hello Suzen,
It's true that many parents get fed up and become numb to the dangers that are out there. I do pity them in a way.

Sometimes we all need these reality checks. We have to be grateful when everybody comes out of the lesson unscathed.
