(Natalie Portman gives a career-defining performance in Black Swan; screened on Friday, Dec. 31.)
Do you have guests coming to town and you’re wanting to know everything that is going on around town while they are here?
I suggest starting with purchasing tickets for the 20th annual Aspen Film Academy Screenings, December 22 – January 1. Tickets have gone on sale today for 19 of the season’s most attention-getting films and are available to everyone. Most of the films will take place at the Harris Concert Hall, with one evening of screenings at the historic Wheeler Opera House on December 23. The complete program is available online at www.aspenfilm.org.
Aspen Film also announces a new addition to the program, Darren Aronofsky’s stunning psychological thriller BLACK SWAN, starring Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, and Winona Ryder, and set in the high-stakes world of New York City ballet. The film will be screened Friday, December 31, at 8:15 p.m. at Harris Concert Hall.
Tickets for Academy Screenings films are $13 each and can be purchased through Aspen Show Tickets at the Wheeler Opera House box office at 320 E.
