A Family Trip to Denver

It is tough being a parent in many ways but what I find most difficult is encorporating music, dance and language classes into their busy life of academics and sports. So when Axel expressed an interest in hip hop lessons, I jumped all over it and included a visit to a Hip Hop Festival into our agenda on our trip.

Our stay in Denver revolved around an elusive Hip Hop Festival that was taking place. I didn’t know how it was going to pan out but I am so happy I persevered and took the boys to the Showcase Festival that occurred last night in a nearby Tavern.

Mizuna – A Sustainable Restaurant in Denver

While staying at The Brown Palace, the boys and I dined at Mizuna, a nearby award-winning sustainable restaurant. With Limoncello walls and delicious local ingredients, we decided that we need to come back and experience all the other restaurants owned by Chef Frank Bonanno.
