Free Snowmass Concerts Kick Off Food & Wine Classic
Town is completely lit up in so many ways for the annual Food & Wine Classic and we at AspenRealLife are throwing ourselves into the scene as much as we can, beginning with Rustic Grind in Snowmass and the first free concert on Fanny Hill.
Our introduction to the Classic began yesterday at an Aspen Luxury Life Magazine private party located at a beautiful home by the river on one of our favorite streets in Aspen.
The food was Ethiopian cuisine, prepared by Etenesh Bertley, and complimented the drinks being served by Odell Brewing, Woody Creek Distillery and Impatience.

During the party part of our crew, Bear and Salvador, were up in Snowmass capturing the scene at Cochon555’s Rustic Grind, and then on to watch See-I on Fanny Hill, featuring members of Thievery Corporation. Little did we know that they would end up back stage fraternizing and photographing Ekow, Rootz & Zeebo, Joe and Greg for AspenRealLife.
Snowmass Free Concert Series invited guests to Fanny Hill on the first night of the Food and Wine Classic for the ultimate al fresco evening pairing special musical guests SEE-I Reggae Funkmasters with culinary experiences curated by the dynamic team behind Cochon555 and Heritage Fire. Dubbed “Rustic Grind,” expect wood-fired grills loaded up with heritage breed proteins from animals raised with safe, honest methods on family farms in Colorado. The smoky fare will be paired with premium tipples such as Breckenridge Distillery Bourbon Punches and Smoked Old Fashioneds, Courvoisier Cognac slushes, and artisanal wines. Cochon555 believes in authentic hospitality and the global nature of food culture.
