As a subsidiary of Aspen Real Life, a blog that has always been about sharing inspirational stories about the people we meet in our daily travels, tonight we launch AspenBusinessConnect at The Marble Bar Aspen in the Grand Hyatt Residences, a new networking forum born out of Aspen Real Life to help us all connect faster and deeper to the business owners in our community.
Aspen Business Connect Forums
Co-Founded by Jillian Livingston, Editor/Founder of Aspen Real Life, and Jill Rubin, LA Producer, AspenBusinessConnect forums have been designed to do what we do best over here at Aspen Real Life, connect people closer together by sharing their stories and improve business to business relations in our valley.
Being a resort town that runs on tourism we are accustomed to answering questions to help visiting guests to have the best experiences they can have, guiding them toward the businesses we love. Since we are such a transient valley, there is a disconnect that happens when business relations get broken due to people moving away. Holding monthly networking forums enables us to continuously learn what businesses and people are new to town, which ones are gone, and which admins have been replaced. Meeting one another off-line in an intimate setting puts names and faces front of mind, ensuring that messages get shared with greater intent. When we experience someone, or something we connect to, we share it to all we know.
Networking Event Format
At each networking event three business owners are invited to share their stories, sponsors are introduced, and a question and answer session ensues. A large portion of the evening is opened up for dialogue between guest attendees, panelists, and industry professionals.
This Thursday, March 29th, launches our first event to be held at the Marble Bar Aspen (FULL CAPACITY). Panel discussion business presenters include; Chef C. Barclay Dodge, Chef/Owner of Bosq; Chef Susie Jimenez, Chef/Owner of Spice it up Susie; and Shaefer Welch, Service and Spirits Specialist at Marble Distilling Co. & The Distillery Inn, and Marble Bar Aspen. Refreshments will be provided by Marble Bar Aspen, Too Haute Cowgirls, and Coloradough Donuts.
Become A Sponsor
Our networking campaign is well underway, and businesses are quickly signing on as sponsors to help keep our events non fee-based, and to connect deeper with our community and show their support.
An enormous thank you to our current sponsors who believed in what we were doing from the very beginning, and allowed us to make this all happen.
It has been such fun soaking up the positive messages we have been receiving, which only affirms that we have touched upon something that we all need a whole lot more of, connecting with others.
Become a member of our Facebook Group Page. After only one month we are already over 1K members strong.
