Elliott Yeary Gallery Artist Reception with Tori Campisi

Join Elliott Yeary Gallery December 22nd in celebrating local artist Tori Campisi and her newest original collection.

Campisi’s work features animals, patterns and other compositions that explode with optimism.  Her soulful, happy art is driven by color and adorned with equal parts humility and humor.  Her voice sings through the oil paints she uses, and her life—good, bad, quirky and messy—underlies every piece and pattern she paints, adding an unexpected sophistication to otherwise simple topics.

Celebrate Rossignol’s Grand Opening Weekend in Aspen December 22nd & 23rd.

Building off the successful launch of the flagship store and pop-up boutiques across France, Italy, Switzerland, and Norway, including last month’s new Paris flagship store location, Rossignol will be opening its first U.S. retail pop-up boutique in Aspen, CO at the end of this month.

Located in the historic Benton building at 521 E Hyman Ave, the Rossignol retail boutique is scheduled to open just before the holidays in the heart of downtown. The seasonal concept store will highlight the brand’s 110 year history in winter sports, while featuring a unique pop-design aesthetic centered on the brand’s classic rooster logo and the “bleu, blanc, rouge” colorways that are strongly linked with the brand’s iconic French heritage.

A Thrift Shop with Dior and Gucci as Neighbors

You’ll have to read this article written by an Aspen Thrift Shop volunteer to understand why you should be shopping at the Aspen Thrift Shop – it’s the place for shopaholics to discard their deluge to open their closets for more. It’s the place you’ll find expensive treasures at unheard of prices. It’s the place you’ll find Aspen’s treasure hunters looking for expensive discards that they can pick up and sell for higher prices.  While there, be sure to stop by the Fire Museum next door.

For seven decades, volunteers at the Aspen Thrift Shop have turned donated clothing, shoes and housewares into millions of dollars of support for area nonprofits. Last year $609,904 was distributed to charities, schools, college scholarships and youth activities on the strength of this three-level shop.Aspen Thrift Shop
