About The Founder
Meet Jillian Livingston; founder, connector, blogger, writer, event producer, mom of three boys, freelance travel writer, life travel writer. After receiving a degree in Broadcast & Film at Boston University Jillian moved to New York City where she worked as a Publicist for Simon & Schuster, and then as a Merchandising Editor for Seventeen Magazine. She moved to Aspen in 1990 and worked for what was then called Aspen Film Festival, DanceAspen (SantaFe Ballet) and IDCA (Aspen Ideas). Her last job before having her three boys was working in film production with real people Casting Director, Dede Brinkman, at Aspen Production Services. Her job after kids, and during building her start up was with (what is now called) Red Wheel, a local digital marketing agency.
The blog began in 2009 as an outlet for stories, videos and pictures of raising three boys in a resort town. As a freelance travel writer Jillian reviews hotels and resorts whenever the opportunity arises and she has written for luxury travel sites such as; Inspirato, Quintess, Bespoke Concierge Magazine, Destinations Travel Magazine. She was also the Roaring Fork Examiner.
