The other morning I received a Lead with Love newsletter with a video included by Yogarupa Rod Stryker stating four simple things that we should practice for the rest of our lives, stressing that we really have to take responsibility for the quality of our lives, as challenging as they may be and that it is ultimately our choice on whether we are going to thrive or merely survive relatively.

I awoke to his video just after an intense dream that came after listening at 5:30am to his “Bliss” meditation from his Empowerment meditation series on his Sanctuary app. I often take advantage of my biological clock awakening me at the magical hour when nobody else in my house is awake and meditate, breathing in healing energy and releasing any anxiety-inducing thoughts, allowing the oxygen to infiltrate my brain and my body and dissipate all concerns and worries, and allowing the oxygen silence my mind.
After the meditation, I fell back into a dream. I was in a classroom listening to a teacher speaking at a whiteboard, a wand in her hand pointing to circular words she had written. She was talking about how we are created, and how we live to create, “Not to worry,” she said to me, “It’s an open canvas for you. All you need to do is create. Don’t worry about the rest.” In the dream, my friend said, “That’s what you’re doing, isn’t it Jillian? Creating? …. and then I woke up to Rod’s video.
