The other morning I received a Lead with Love newsletter with a video included by Yogarupa Rod Stryker stating four simple things that we should practice for the rest of our lives, stressing that we really have to take responsibility for the quality of our lives, as challenging as they may be and that it is ultimately our choice on whether we are going to thrive or merely survive relatively.

[su_box title=”Yogarupa Rod Stryker“] is a world-renowned yoga and meditation teacher, guiding and sharing his wisdom for 40 years. He is the founder of ParaYoga®, and the author of The Four Desires: Creating a Life of Purpose, Happiness, Prosperity, and Freedom. He is the creator of one of the most comprehensive online yoga trainings in the world and most recently, the app Sanctuary, a premier destination for all levels of those wanting to experience the life-changing practices of meditation and yoga nidra, also known as Enlightened Sleep.  Rod has dedicated his life to improving lives through his lectures, writing, practice, teaching, leadership, service and family life.[/su_box]

I awoke to his video just after an intense dream that came after listening at 5:30am to his “Bliss” meditation from his Empowerment meditation series on his Sanctuary app. I often take advantage of my biological clock awakening me at the magical hour when nobody else in my house is awake and meditate, breathing in healing energy and releasing any anxiety-inducing thoughts, allowing the oxygen to infiltrate my brain and my body and dissipate all concerns and worries, and allowing the oxygen silence my mind.

After the meditation, I fell back into a dream. I was in a classroom listening to a teacher speaking at a whiteboard, a wand in her hand pointing to circular words she had written. She was talking about how we are created, and how we live to create, “Not to worry,” she said to me, “It’s an open canvas for you. All you need to do is create. Don’t worry about the rest.” In the dream, my friend said, “That’s what you’re doing, isn’t it Jillian? Creating? …. and then I woke up to Rod’s video.

Have you ever felt an intense emotion but struggled to come up with a way to put your feelings into words? Perhaps you’re going through a difficult breakup and are having trouble processing the mixture of anger, grief, sadness, and other emotions you are experiencing. Some may be impossible to even identify. Or maybe you’re excited about the possibility of something new — a promotion, for example — but are experiencing something else in addition to the excitement — something you can’t quite articulate out loud. You’re not alone. Describing emotions is a complex and often extremely challenging — not to mention sometimes undesirable — task that leaves many people overwhelmed and even more confused than the feelings themselves. However, this ability is an important one to have in developing emotional intelligence. People can use the wheel to identify their emotions and come to terms with how they are feeling, make informed decisions, seek resolution, gain closure, and, ultimately, become more self-aware and self-compassionate.#selfawareness #love #life #selfawareness #personalgrowth #spiritualgrowth #spiritualawakening #higherconsciousness #higherawakening #highervibes #spiritualjourney #highervibrations #awakenings #affirmations #affirmation #wisewordstoliveby #wisewordsoftheday #dailyaffirmations #affirmationoftheday #manifestation ...

TESTIMONIALS SAY SO MUCH! Thank you Jacey Korus Design for taking the time to write this incredible testimonial. It's rewards like this that keep our passion to connect people together alive! "In the two weeks that I've officially been a member, the Aspen Business Connect has provided me more value than I could have imagined. For example, minutes after I was introduced on the ABC Facebook page, I had two project inquiries from fellow members. As someone who has only lived in the Valley for a short time, I am so thankful that Jillian has built a platform that connects quality businesses and entrepreneurs in an environment that truly values collaboration over competition." ~ Jacey Korus, Creator + Designer, www.jaceykorus.comBecome a member, join our network: www.aspenreallife.com/subscription/ ...
