As a lifestyle blog that has always been about sharing inspirational local stories, we now present to you Aspen Connect. As storytelling marketers we believe in the power of storytelling and how it inspires and connects community. At Aspen Connect we curate the good and inspirational, sharing voices and promoting brands while deepening connections. These events bring together the business professionals and individuals of our valley through conversations in intimate settings revolving around human interest stories.
Being a resort town we act as concierges, answering questions to help visiting guests to have the best experiences they can have, guiding them toward the businesses we believe in. Since we are such a transient valley there is a disconnect that happens when business relations get broken due to people moving away. Holding monthly networking events enables us to continuously learn what businesses and people are new to the valley, which ones are gone, and which admins have been replaced. Meeting one another off-line in intimate settings puts names and faces front of mind, ensuring that messages get shared with greater intent. When we experience someone, or something we connect to, we share it to all we know.
At each event we present conversations with carefully selected speakers, introduce our sponsors offline, and encourage guests to interact in the conversation through Q&A’s. A large portion of the evening is opened up for dialogue between guest attendees, panelists, and industry professionals.
