A Screening of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power

Wilderness Workshop and CLEER are co-presenting a screening of “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” with an introduction by Amory Lovins of the Rocky Mountain Institute. From 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. we will meet at Roaring Fork Brewery’s “Batch” for a free reception for all ticketholders. All movie ticketholders will receive one free drink and complimentary snacks! Afterwards, we will head to the quaint Crystal Theatre in downtown Carbondale for a screening of “An Inconvenient Sequel.” An introductory presentation by Amory Lovins, Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Institute, will precede the film. Physicist Amory Lovins (1947) is cofounder and Chief Scientist of Rocky Mountain Institute ( http://www.rmi.org ). He received the Blue Planet, Volvo, Zayed, Onassis, Nissan, Shingo, and Mitchell Prizes, MacArthur and Ashoka Fellowships, 12 honorary doctorates, the Heinz, Lindbergh, Right Livelihood (“alternative Nobel”), National Design, and World Technology Awards, and the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit (awarded by the President of Germany).
