Carrie Morgridge at Paepcke Library

August 6 @ 5:30 pm UTC-6

Explore and discover how it feels to bike across the country, on a mountain bike, on what is called the most challenging bike route in North America. Join Ascend at the Aspen Institute, as we host a conversation with Carrie Morgridge, Vice President of the Morgridge Family Foundation, to discuss her new book The Spirit of the Trail: A Journey to Fulfillment Along the Continental Divide, at the Paepcke Library, Aspen Meadows, 845 Meadows Road, Aspen, Colorado, 81611. The Spirit of the Trail will inspire you to build your own adventures. Whether you have always desired to bike across the country, or just wondered what is out there in wild North America. Carrie goes into detail about their triumphs, their struggles for food and water, and how they pushed each other to their maximum physical and mental abilities. She will also introduce you to the kindness of people and the warmth of small town charm.
