Colorado Needs Wolves Film Series

November 17, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm UTC-6

The Roaring Fork Group of the Colorado Sierra Club invites everyone to “Colorado Needs Wolves” film series on Friday, November 17, at the CMC Spring Valley Campus – New Space Theater. Doors open at 5:30 and the films begin at 6:00 pm.

Spend an evening with Wolves as we first view a short documentary film, Canis lupus Colorado, that helps answer the question … What if wolves came back to Colorado?

Next is our feature film, “Living with Wolves”, which follows Jim and Jamie Dutcher’s extraordinary experiences living with the Sawtooth Wolf Pack for six years. Exclusive footage in this Emmy-nominated film reveals the innermost details of pack life, and how these elusive, intelligent and powerful creatures interact with man.

The evening’s films are free of charge and there will be refreshments and an opportunity to meet local Sierra Club members in the campus lobby starting at 5:30 pm. During a brief intermission, Delia Malone, Wildlife Chair of the Colorado Sierra Club, will be on-hand to answer your questions about why it is essential to restore wolves to Colorado.
