David Rothman’s, “Belle Turnbull”

March 23 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm UTC-6

Join us at Explore Booksellers while we welcome author and poet David J. Rothman, who will discuss and read from his latest book, Belle Turnbull: On The Life and Work of an American Master, which he co-edited with Jeffery Villines. Belle Turnbull was the first powerful poet to live in and write about the mountains and high mining towns of the Colorado Rockies. Rothman will lead us in navigating Belle Turnbull’s colorful life and how her words still echo true in the landscape that we all find familiar. Rothman is the Director of the Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado and is Resident Poet for Colorado Public Radio and the current Poet Laureate of Colorado’s Western Slope.
