Get Upside-Down With Megan Capps: An Inversion Workshop

Change your perspective, dissolve your fears, and fire up your inner core strength as we explore the fun of turning our practice upside down with basic inversions. As our practice strengthens and deepens, so does our curiosity. Arm balances and inversions are not just pretty tricks but unique poses that test the edges of our physical and mental endurance. This workshop will provide a safe learning environment to explore these poses and play with the physical, mental, and emotional challenges they offer. The inverted postures of yoga are some of the most beneficial yet intimidating of the asanas. You will be introduced to basic inversions and arm balances such as handstand, forearm stand, tripod headstand, crow pose, and shoulder stand. We will learn the basics of getting in and out of the postures with alignment, breath, mind, and body awareness. Yogis of all levels are welcome!
