Grounding and Nourishing Practices for Balancing Vata w/Kerrie Martin

In Ayurvedic philosophy, the fall and winter months (vata season) are associated with dryness, the air element, wind and cool temperatures. With excess vata energy we may notice feelings of overwhelm, have difficulty concentrating and notice dry skin, hair and nails, among other things.
Join holistic health professional and yoga teacher, Kerrie Martin, as we explore a multi-layered approach to soothing and calming an excess of vata. You can look forward to a grounding meditation and movement practice, Abhyanga (self-massage) techniques, and an exploration of daily rituals, foods and beverages that all help to pacify an overabundance of vata. Please bring a towel and wear clothing you don’t mind possibly getting oily.
