High in the Alpine: Flowers, Birds & Small Mammals of the Tundra

August 13, 2016 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC-6

Free – $10.00

Cushion plants, krummholz, horned larks, pikas. Come explore the alpine tundra on top of Independence Pass with the Forest Conservancy Master Naturalists Francine Liebel, Donna Chase, or Carol Kurt! This 4-hour outing will open your senses to the new ways of seeing this seemingly monotonous landscape and will give you a renewed appreciation for the incredible plants and animals that live there.

***The class meets at the top of the pass, right by the Independence Pass sign at 10am.***
