Potbelly Perspectives: Biking to the Bottom of the World

January 31 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm UTC-6

Al Fin Del Mundo: Biking to the Bottom of the World | Pat Callahan

Over 35 years of bike touring, Pat Callahan has pedaled through 49 states, biking in segments from as far north as Alaska and south into Mexico. In the summer of 2016 Pat continued south, completing his journey to Ushuaia, Argentina, the southernmost city in the world. On the way, he struggled through the heat of the Central American jungles, battled below-zero temperatures in the Andes, and enjoyed an incredible variety of cultures and landscapes along the way. His travels took him through desolate deserts, bustling cities, Patagonian mountains, plenty of beaches, and a high altitude crossing of the Andes.

Come join Pat as he shares his photos, tells some funny stories and scary tales, and discusses life on a bike.

Tea, donated by Two Leaves and a Bud Tea Company, beer, donated by Aspen Brewing Company, and Paradise Bakery cookies will be offered during lecture.
