Bodymind Ballwork is a bodywork system that employs rubber balls of various sizes and textures to ease tension in muscles and fascia. It can be an effective preparatory technique for yoga or other movement practices to loosen up and increase joint mobility. It is incredibly empowering in that once you learn the basics you can do it on your own at any time to relieve stiffness and pain.

Kristine Whittle is a yoga teacher, massage therapist, and professional modern dancer. She has been living and working in the Denver area since 2002, where she leads regular yoga classes, workshops, teacher trainings, and retreats. She has employed ball rolling techniques in her own self care practice for decades and has found it to be so effective that she now incorporates ball work into all of her yoga classes. Kristine designs her classes to provide opportunities to slow down, deepen self-awareness, and empower the practitioner to engage in a way that allows them to not just do yoga, but to purposefully step into and rest in the experience of yoga.
