Giovanna O. Kennedy – Good thing I moved to Aspen!

My name is Giovanna Kennedy and I am a Roaring Fork Valley local of almost 20 years and an Associate Broker at Roaring Fork Valley Sotheby’s International Realty.

My love for this place began in the winter of 2001 when I came to Aspen for my college winter break. At the time, I was studying Industrial Engineering in my hometown of  Lima, Peru, and had come to Aspen for only the winter season. However, those couple of months changed my life. I fell in love with the Valley’s beauty and its people– I wasted no time in moving to Aspen.

Over the years I built a career in banking and luxury hospitality before deciding it was time for me to transition into Real Estate. I realized that my expertise in our local housing markets, combined with my personal networks and my hard work ethic, would distinctly benefit clientele looking to buy or sell in the Roaring Fork Valley.

My work as an Associate Broker/Realtor at Sotheby’s is some of the most rewarding and engaging work I have done. By nature, I enjoy helping others materialize their goals. This is why real estate came naturally to me. I enjoy providing my clients with the results they expect and deserve. Whether you are looking to sell a property or buy your dream home, I am here to help you achieve your goal in the most effective and easy manner possible!

What motivates Giovanna?

Giving back to the Roaring Fork Community that has given me so much over the years. My main focus is on children’s education and health. For the past 4 years, I have been the PTA Chair/Fundraising person at St Stephen’s School and the founder of their annual Winter Gala.  I have also been a member of the fundraising committee for “Wine Women & Shoes” & currently, the “Day of Rose,” benefiting the Shining Star’s Foundation.

And of course, at my very core, my family is my motivation. My oldest daughter is a Columbia University graduate currently working in investment banking; my son attends St Stephen Catholic School, and my husband is the GM at the Courtyard by Marriot. Their personal successes and support inspire and challenge me every day– Good thing I moved to Aspen! Please contact me to help you find your perfect dream home in our Roaring Fork Valley.
