Girl’s Trip at the Hot Springs

Just a Few Reasons to Take That Girls Trip Now

Honestly…do you really need a reason for a girl’s trip?

The good news is that you don’t need to travel to some distant or exotic location to get away with your friends for a short respite from the duties of everyday life.  You can find everything you need right in your own backyard.

This is especially true for those of us blessed to live in Colorado.  With the frenetic pace of summer behind, and winter activities and the holidays ahead, autumn is the perfect time to take a break and refresh your spirits with your besties.

Not that you needed us to remind you, but here are a few reasons to take some time for a girl’s trip.

No Stress.  With so much so close, finding a place is as easy as jumping in the car for just the day or an overnight.  Glenwood Springs, located just down-Valley from Aspen offers a plethora of lodging options especially affordable during the fall.  And with no pressure to ‘have to do something’, a relaxing day at Iron Mountain Hot Springs provides the perfect opportunity just decompress and visit with friends.

No Kids…No worries.  As much as you love them, they rule your life.  When you take time for yourself, it helps you replenish that mental energy you need to get through the day.  A chance to sleep in, lounge around and just…do nothing. You’re not on ‘their’ schedule. In fact, you’re not on any schedule at all.  How nice is that?

Something so simple can do a world of good, especially when surrounded by like-minded friends.

No Decisions.  Well, nothing too serious. Your biggest decision will be which of Iron Mountain Hot Springs’ 16 different soaking pools you’ll sample first.  Set aside in their own quiet zone, each pool is set to a different temperature ranging from 99 – 108 degrees, so you can find one that’s just right for you.  Or, you can cool down in our larger freshwater pool with its elevated whirlpool. Our iron-rich, thermal mineral water is 100% pure…free of chemicals and naturally filtered.  The beautifully appointed bathhouse provides complimentary lockers and is fully stocked with all the amenities you’ll need.

No Guilt.  Oh, maybe just a little.  The Sopris Café serves a cornucopia of delicious sandwiches and snacks, personal pizzas and more to sate your appetite.  And, you can choose from an array of refreshments, including wine, beer and mixed drinks that you can enjoy during your soak.

So, now that we’ve helped you rationalize your girls trip the only thing left for you to do is compare calendars, pick a time and make a plan to visit us at Iron Mountain Hot Springs, just down the road in Glenwood Springs.  There’s no reason not to. You can learn more at ironmountainhotsprings.com.

#4 ASPEN BUSINESS CONNECT REAL PROFILES WITH LEX LUCIUS, Artist, Designer. www.instagram.com/tv/CKfp_c0lwjl/From our blog: "For the past decade, I have been the sole fabricator of the Herbert Bayer estate sculptures....The resulting works that I created have been placed in private collections and corporate locations throughout the country, including two monumental works recently installed across from The Mall of America in Minneapolis, MN. The work of bringing Bayer’s models to the public continues in my new location in Basalt, where I am working on midsize versions that may one day be realized on a monumental scale. I am also working on my own painting and sculpture and would enjoy fabricating for other valley artists. My studio is open to visitors by appointment. Let me tell you what it’s like living with these mountains outside our window.I sit and meditate to their energy and receive messages to keep going on my path. To persevere. When I am on the phone with my beloved 83 year old mother I get reassured that she is okay and I soon will be able to be with her again. When I am exhausted and frustrated I look up from my work and they beckon me to drop it all and come play to reset. When I get a call from a friend in need the mountains urge me to stop what I am doing and go help.and when the sun hits the peaks in the morning they seem to call me to awake and attack the day with enthusiasm and positivity. Our mountains. Feel the energy. Listen to the messages. Get after it. #mountainlife#aspenreallife#themountainsarecalling ...
