This spring break go to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park: Add a Play Day to Your Colorado Ski Trip for a mountain-top experience that will leave you as breathless and exhilarated as any of Aspen Ski Co.’s slopes.
It’s March and that means spring skiing in Colorado has arrived! A month when visitors will be pouring in for a final opportunity to schuss the state’s fabled slopes before they close for the season. Located in nearby Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is an ideal destination for a one-day spring break adventure to America’s only mountain-top theme park.
Whether you’re skiing at Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk or Snowmass, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is within an hour’s drive of all of them. As exhilarating as a week of skiing can be, midway through you may be ready for a break from the lift lines and crowds. An unexpected change of scenery can be just the ticket to keep kids and non-skiers in the group engaged and entertained during a multi-day ski holiday.
Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park’s Rides
Over spring break, most of Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park’s rides will be open including the new award-winning Haunted Mine Drop, named by USA Today as the 2017 Best New Amusement Park Attraction in the US! Other rides including the Alpine Coaster, and—weather permitting—the Giant Canyon Swing that launches riders out over scenic Glenwood Canyon will also be open during spring break. Add in a 4D motion theater, a Western-themed laser tag arena, scenic gondola rides from the valley floor to the top of the mountain and awe-inspiring cave tours for an epic day of thrilling fun and adventure for the entire family.
