Remember Michelle Manning-Kogler? We met when being interviewed on the Buzz on 82 and she asked me what was wrong, even though I was “acting” as if all was fine.

Well on February 28th, Carbondale local Bio Energenic Practitioner, Spiritual Healer and Personal Coach, Michelle Manning-Kogler, made it past round one in the Conari Press International search for the next top Self-Help Author.

Over 600 competitors sent in videos stating their reasons for wanting to become the next top self help author. Only seventy out of these +600 were chosen to move into round two. Winners were chosen based on public votes and video content.

There are three more rounds to go until one grand prize winner is rewarded a publishing contract with Conari Press, as well as a speaking gig at one of the largest conferences in the country, Celebrate Your Life.

In this next round, twenty-five of the remaining seventy will be chosen to move forward on March 31st, based on submitted materials and votes. Please click here to cast your vote for “The Next Top Self-Help Author” and then click on the “Vote for this Author/Book” at the bottom of the page.

In round three contestants will be asked to submit two additional chapters. The contest closes on April 30th.

If you want to read more about Michelle, please visit her blog where Michelle talks about this gift she was born with and her desire to get the message of hope and healing out to the world, “I am so filled with appreciation and gratitude for this opportunity to help others make lasting, positive changes in their lives. So help me rally more support and lets get this book published and on its way to the hands of those who really need it.”
