Sterling Silver and Black Diamond Belt Buckles Hand-Made in Aspen - Aspen Real Life

Sterling Silver and Black Diamond Belt Buckles Hand-Made in Aspen

Give the Perfect Gift of a Customized Silver and Black Diamond Belt Buckle From Aspen

With an extensive high-end jewelry design background, local Aspenite jewelry designer, David Bull, customizes original jewelry and high-end men’s accessories of artistic merit. His sterling silver and black diamond Aviation Belt Buckle was created in collaboration with local aircraft technician Matt Evans.

Together, David and Matt have crafted a signature .925 sterling silver piece with jets forming a snowflake, the noses all pointing towards the central point, a black diamond. Each buckle is assembled out of 28 different components and is then heat-treated and sand-blasted for maximum scratch resistance and durability (buckles are also available in brass, with and without the diamond). Visit the website HERE.

Matt Evans

Matt Evans spends his day trouble-shooting private jet aircraft based at the Aspen Airfield but loves creative design muscle. Originally from Chicago, Matt quickly embraced the Aspen lifestyle when arriving in 2008. When not working on an aircraft, or spending time outdoors, he designs men fashion jewelry/accessories. Matt is proud to bring his creation of the Aviator Belt Buckle to any Aviation enthusiast, Jet setter, or just someone looking for a simultaneous sporty and elegant gift that incorporates so much of Aspen into its design; jet aircraft, silver, snowflakes & black diamonds.

Diamond Grading in the Rough from Cameroon to Aspen

Both David and Matt are known for their attention to detail and customer service, and David also has a gemologist background, guaranteeing high-quality diamonds in each creation.

Attending the Gemological Institute of America in 1989, David received his Graduate Gemologist diploma, and also had extensive training at American Jewelers Institute in the grading of diamond rough. He subsequently made regular trips to Cameroon, West Guinea, South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as a diamond rough buyer, bringing the diamond rough back to the US to be cut and sold in retail stores. David’s passion is in creating men’s accessories: Cufflinks, wallets, belt buckles, pens, and key chains.

David is a consummate artist with a keen eye and a complete understanding of both his materials and his customers needs. As a designer and artist he helped bring to life the unique vision I had for my wife’s wedding ring. The overwhelming success of that project lead to our collaboration on other designs I had in mind for earrings, pendants and accessories. My wife and I have relied on and benefited from his experience and guidance as a gemologist – securing gemstones that completed the pieces he was creating for us. Without reservation I describe David as being that lovely combination of highly creative, honest and warm.

How Nature Heals, A Story From aspenreallife.com: #l....As the story from the forest unraveled while we were skinning through it, other stories were revealed and I began to collect the information for a possible future children’s book; the snow crystals sparkling like diamonds in the sun, the white ice crystals of hoarfrost layered upon the snow, and as I absorbed the textures with my eyes, I realized that I also felt the textures from within and it was inexplicably soothing. We have been forced to slow down during this Pandemic, allowing us the opportunity to reflect deeply about our place in the world. For many of us revelations are happening daily, but if we are filled with anxiety, or can’t move beyond our depression, we will not allow the revelations to seep in and we will miss the magic. Meditation helps immensely to create mindfulness about the chatter that leads to the anxiety, as does listening to the journeys of others as they get raw in their pain while enduring heart break and loss. As we repeatedly witness, the world can be a scary place where humanity can be careless, selfish and hateful, but humanity and compassion can also heal us to a place where we are able to see the world as healing rather than a place we want to escape from, but you need to get raw with it. Face it head on, so that you can create space and breathe, which will allow you to slowly shed the anxiety and the depression so that you can strengthen from within and persevere, no matter what is going on around you. Get outside in nature, and nurture it as it nurtures you.Read More at aspenreallife.com#hownatureheals#intotheforest#hoarfrost#textures#natureheals#aspenreallife ...
