Thanksgiving Events in Colorado: Celebrating the Season of Gratitude

Thanksgiving is next week, and whether or not we resonate with the origination of this holiday, it is indeed a time where many of us slow down to gather together with friends and family over food cooked with love and meaning.

To ensure that nobody ever feels alone over the holidays, we have put together a list of events, with love from Aspen Real Life. So please do enjoy yourselves next week, give big hugs and kisses on the soft cheeks of your adorable little ones running around, and be sure to tag us with your delicious photos!

Farm-to-Fridge

November 20, 2019

On November 20th, freshly harvested, farm-to-fridge shares were distributed free of charge to the community at the Farm Collaborative Aspen’s Farm Park. Although the location for the annual free community Thanksgiving dinner was unavailable this year this did not stop Eden Vardy and his team from delivering his harvest to the community. This year, the community will be cooking his harvest and sharing photos of our food, “It’s still an opportunity to honor local food, and to thank and celebrate our local farmers,” says Vardy.
