What to Do With Your Kids in Snowmass

Aspen’s cohort, Snowmass, has an incredible suite of kid-friendly options in the winter.  Here are just a few of our favorites:

Lynn Britt Cabin

Wednesday nights in Snowmass provides on-mountain dining perfect for the whole family.

During the Winter, the Lynn Britt Cabin at the top of the Burlingame Lift in Snowmass is where you and your family can sink in your foodie chops.  Although this even runs all year, during the winter you will take a Snowcat to your dinner destination where you’ll enjoy the Cabin’s spectacular views.  (Plus, what kid wouldn’t want to take a Snowcat to dinner?)

Reserve your seat by calling ASC Catering at 970.300.7681 or emailing them at [email protected]/.

Whether you want to have fun indoors or out, there’s something in Snowmass for your family.  Very Important Kids Snowmass (VIK Snowmass) hosts daily events, even on the weekends for your family.

For instance, you may start your week with a juggling show at the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center.  Maybe later in the week you’ll join a Sing Along with S’Mores or a postcard making class.  Take the family into the heated Saline pools at the Rec Center another day.  The schedule varies during the winter weeks but you can check it out at http://viksnowmass.com/.  (There’s literally something fun every single day!)

The acupuncture point between the eyebrows (third eye) is called Yintang and known to aid in several symptoms, most popularly the Yintang has a very powerful action of calming the mind and because of this action is almost commonly used in the treatment of insomnia, anxiety and agitation. Some who have been treated with this point say that its like a stress relief button, their whole body sink into a deep relaxation and they feel peaceful and without worry.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Follow them if you feel like you're in need of a little stress reliever.... here is a little tip - the Yintang point can also be stimulated using acupressure if you are in need of a little self care. Use the pads of your fingers to gently apply pressure, adding in a few circular motions if you feel like. Take a few deep breaths and relax your face.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
