THE 5TH ANNUAL LUCKY CHANCES LUNCHEON, THURSDAY DECEMBER 3RD, 1-2 pm
LUCKY CHANCES started 5 years ago by Krista Klees, who is now Slifer Smith & Frampton – Aspen’s Executive Vice President & Managing Broker.
The purpose of the small luncheon was to enlighten a well-rounded group of people (women) invited to come together to listen, learn and lend a helping hand to five organizations in our valley, and to help raise funds for their efforts.
Supporting Non-Profits in and Around Aspen
This year the event is live via Zoom and has been opened to a larger audience with a sponsored lunch. 5 amazing non-profit organizations from the Roaring Fork Valley will be featured:
Aspen Hope Center, Response WindWalkers Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy Center YouthZone & Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Council.
In an effort to support our local businesses, you will also be able to enjoy delicious food and beverage from one of the many participating restaurants in the Roaring Fork Valley and Eagle & Summit Counties. Once you register for the event, you will receive a special code word to present when ordering (dine-in, take-out or grab and go), good for the day of the event, December 3rd from 11am – 6:30pm. A list of these restaurants and additional information is forthcoming.
The Dining is on Krista Klees – the Donating is on you!
Slifer Smith & Frampton will be generously MATCHING up to $30,000 of donations to the 5 organization $150,000 has been raised in four years of hosting the luncheon. No gift is ever too small and the gift of “time” often becomes the largest gift of all. Register Here.

Hi Krista, I found news of this event on my computer…how did it go ? It sounds wonderful. I’d like to share maybe a post or photos that feature our equine partner WindWalkers ( and what you do!) on our social media platforms. I am not sure if you are familiar with what the RFV Horse Council (RFVHC) accomplishes in the valley and I’d like to send you our End of the Year Letter…. How can we help ? Karin
