In our effort to continue to enrich our Roaring Fork Valley community by capturing the positive and inspirational people and businesses through real stories, Aspen Real Life wants you to submit your stories, images and videos. Write For Us
  • Before submitting stories please get to know the style of the blog by reading it and watching the interviews. If you feel like your story will be well received by our readers, then by all means write it and submit it.
  • What stories do we love most? Anything inspirational, positive, interesting and informative about the people and adventures in our valley.
  • Stories must not have been published elsewhere online (including your personal blog) or slated for distribution on other sites.
  • All sources must be claimed. Use links to sites.  Put relevant links in brackets:
  • 1-2 minute fully edited interviews welcome if quality is great.
  • Only submit fully edited content. Check and double check for typos, facts and grammar – we take pride in our work
AspenRealLife.Com COLUMNISTS
Wanting to have a weekly/monthly column on relationships, food/bars, wellness, beauty, fashion, spirituality, adventures …? Let’s talk. We will want to see examples of your writing and style. If you are in, we will want your bio, photo and we will add you to our AspenRealLife Team.
  • Article submitted by deadline.
  • Check and double check for typos, facts and grammar – we take pride in our work
  • Quick Turnaround – Stories must be timely and submitted one-three days after trending events.
  • Submit at least two articles per month
  • Typical featured columns are 350-1500 words in length and must be accompanied by at least two original photos (either taken by the author or with permission and proper attribution).
  • Submit photos and content via dropbox (in word format for articles)
  • Only submit fully edited content.

    If you’re not quite ready for the commitment of a columnist but would like to be featured, become an Aspen Real Life Contributor. 

    • We can’t promise that we’ll always publish your work…but we do read all submissions. If your submission does not meet our publishing standards we’ll let you know why and you’re always welcome to re-submit.
    • Typical articles from Aspen Real Life Contributors are 350 – 500 words in length and must be accompanied by at least 2 original photos (either taken by the author or by one of our Aspen Real Life Staff Photographers – you’re welcome to submit photos by others with permission and proper attribution).
    • Submit photos and content via dropbox (in word format for articles)
