Well… our media kit has been designed, thanks to the amazing Max Inc, and our new marketing and sales rep is hitting the streets spreading the word about all our multimedia platforms for promoting local and national businesses. And as the other mountain media outlets catch on that social media is all about engaging with others, we’re veering onto yet another new path, talk radio, and we’ve chosen none other than Radio CMC to bring us on and take us to the next level in multimedia production.
With incredible podcasts like This American Life, Radiolab, Sam Harris and Esquire, we know that people like to get their information in different ways. Some like to read, others like to listen or watch and many like to take it in any format they can. Here at Aspen Real Life, we like our factual information told through stories, and we want to listen, watch and read on our own time, while driving our cars or cooking in our kitchens. So we’re all over the opportunity to bring you these local stories by podcast, blog and social media so you can take them in at your convenience.
And so begins our next phase, into the radio world, and we can’t thank Radio CMC enough for taking us on. We’re beside ourselves with excitement about where this is heading and can’t wait to take our live podcasts to the streets!
Our introduction came through Radio CMC’s Small Business Spotlight, an interview with Annmarie Deter, Radio CMC marketing and sales director, and Aspen Real Life editor Jillian Livingston about everything we’re doing and how we can help businesses spread their word. Up first on the Aspen Real Life podcast: the Roaring Fork Valley’s one and only celebrity chef, Susie Jimenez.
